Dr. Allison M Daly, PT is the founder of Optimal Kinetics, LLC.

“I discovered a curiosity of motion and an obsession with symmetry at an early age through practicing and competing in the sport of gymnastics.  Unbeknownst to me, this curiosity would lead down a path to higher education and eventually evolve into a career.”

Dr. Daly completed a BS Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Applied Exercise Physiology at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. She completed an American Physical Therapy Association Residency in Orthopaedics and Practice Management at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA and PT Pros in Hazard, KY.

Working in the LSUHSC Wellness Center during PT school inspired Dr. Daly’s multi-fitness training. She completed certifications with STOTT Pilates, American College of Sports Medicine Health Fitness Instruction, and Schwinn Indoor Cycling. After graduation, she also trained in Miami, FL with Polestar Pilates in their Rehabilitation Series for Healthcare Professionals.  Dr. Daly is a certified Franklin Method® Level 1 Educator.  Most recently, she has become a certified GYROTONIC® Instructor.

Dr. Daly enjoys the challenge of keeping the attention and interest of a class, developing a client's curiosity for optimal biomechanics, and preventing injury in an otherwise “well” population. She loves to see clients experience “aha moments” in their bodies through mindful movement.

When away from the studio, Dr. Daly loves paddleboarding, brunching, costuming, and spending time with her dog Saint Francis. She is happiest reading a good book on a beach under an umbrella and a wide-brimmed floppy hat.
